I had the 270 wrap done in March of this year. This was done because of HH that came back after for months after a 360 wrap. I came down with Hployi and gastritis two months after 270. I am on PPi every day. Now the acid has come back bad. Knot in throat and had to take a deep breath. I am hoping the wrap is still intact. Can gastritis cause this acid. Please help I do not to go thought this again.

What was the reasoning behind reducing the wrap? Surely that wasn't supposed to be a cure for HH!

It's unlikely the wrap has come undone. Acid leaking back up may be due to the wrap not being tight enough. What was wrong with the 360?

Have you had a barium swallow? It would be nice to know if you've developed a hiatal hernia or an ulcer or a swallowing problem, all of which could be seen in this test.

Gastritis is just a pain in the stomach and doesn't tell you anything about what the cause. Acid in the stomach is where it should be and the stomach is supposed to be acid. Acid in the esophagus is not normal.

The 360 was redone by a diffent Dr because the HH has come back. My new Dr did a 270 because I do a lot of lifting on my job. The acid just started when I came down with gastritis. No I have not had any test run yet. Going to the Dr this week.
