5 years post nissen fundoplication

I'm 5 years post op.i went to my G.I Doctor and had a endoscope and he told me that everything looks good and that wrap was still holding,I told him that i have pain below my breast bone and the pain moves to my stomach it feels like getting punched,the doctor told me that everything looked good and i should not be having pain.has anybody else had this problem????

I started having pain shortly after the surgery.. The doctor said it was just spasms. Eventually the pain went away. I have been dealing with that same kind of pain for the past two months or so. My doctor tells me to go see the cardiologist. The Nissen wrap definitely is life changing. I don't know if this is normal for other people who have had this surgery. I just want to know what is causing it so it can be fixed. Anyone else having pain this long after surgery? the swallowing will get better,just give it time,you will lose a lot of weight but you will gain it back and then some..lol.sometimes your food well get stuck and a foamy mucus will come out,thats normal just chew your food real good and take small bits....good luck...
