Like many of those requesting help I suffered with the same symptoms and thought it was Helobacter Pylori bacteria causing an ulcer like irritation with GERD results. After careful inspection (MRI) doctors at the highly regarded clinic suggested I may need to take the blue or purple pills (that limit stomach acid) the rest of my life. A naturopath suggested "we can grow you a new stomach lining in a month" and gave me Slippery Elm powder to boil in water and drink 3x/day for a month, as well as Ulcinix and after a month I was fine. It did take the whole 30 days. Since then at times I become "acidic" and eat cabbage or celery or cucumber (akhalinic foods) and avoid clearly acid producing foods (coffee, spaghetti sauce etc) and it goes away. In other words the remedy worked.
