You need to take a deep breath, and go back to what worked for you the last time - losing weight, watching your diet and taking the PPIs. How were you diagnosed with reflux originally, and have they repeated your endoscopy? Unfortunately, most people resort back to their old habits when they start to feel better. If I'm reading correctly, it took about a month to heal and you haven't had much as far as attacks in the past year and a half? We are not medical professionals, but we can offer advice based on our own experiences. And, yes, PPIs do take time to work and need to be taken correctly. If you have having panic attacks and are depressed because of your symptoms, these are separate issues that you need to talk to your doctor about.
