Anyone had upper endoscopi short time after Nissen? And is it

I am scheduled for upper endoscopy, at exactly 4 months ( 17 weeks) since the operation. Could this possibly be safe and not ruin the wrap? I am worried.

I started to have burning stomac/burning at the wrapsite 12 weeks after operation. I also felt something like reflux. Until then, i felt good.

I had to start to take Nexium again.... which make me very depressed. The nexium also just "takes the top of" the burning pain.

The cause might be intake of coffee and wine..... But i thought i finally could enjoy this things, after all this years with reflux and stomac-pain issues.......Anyone else who can relate to this?

Anyone who have underwent upper endoscopi this short time after Nissen fundoplication, and it all went well?

By the way, I have 360 degree nissen.

I will be extremely grateful for Your response, as i live in a small country with few operations of this kind.

My suggestion to you would be, since you are really early into your recovery process, if something that you eat or drink bothers you, then back off of it and try it at a later date. At almost three years post-surgery, there are still things that I don't tolerate well (alcohol is one), so I avoid it. It's a good trade-off to me. We aren't medical professionals on this forum, so I can't comment on whether an endoscopy is safe, or not. I did not have a follow-up endoscopy until a year post-surgery.

I keep away from coffe and alcohol, but it is so frustrating. I will continue to back off until my stomac hopefully feels good again.

As for the endoscopy I assume that it is my surgeon who has decided that I should do it (I called my surgeon to tell him what I experienced, and he said he wanted to take me in for a follow up.. but he did not mention endoscopy) . But i still feel uncomfortable with it. I am afraid I can`t trust him, but he should of course know what he is doing.

I have an endoscopy tomorrow to stretch my wrap. I am 4 weeks post op. Mine is too tight. sad I will let you know how it goes. Usually if you experience heartburn after surgery, it indicates that the wrap has come undone? Has your doctor done a barium swallow test? They did that to show if the wrap was still in place for me. They knew it was too tight because of my symptoms and food still in my esophagus from the day before.
