Palpitations after eating post fundoplication

Hi
I had a partial fundoplication 6 months ago but 3 months after i am getting brainfog and palpitations after eating and lasts for an hour or so. Blood sugar is fine when i test it but palpitations are driving me mad. Does anyone else get this and if so does this pass with time

Hi..I haven't had the surgery.i am having it this Thursday. I would ask you, however, what are you eating or drinking? I mean is there any caffeine or sugar? Both of those do that to me now. Well, I hope this gets better.

I don't eat sugar or anything like that since ghe operation. I eat pretty well it's strange. I do get lots of reflux since the takedown so it could be related. Do you get palpitations too

It could be a newly-developed food sensitivity. Are you also experiencing a lot of gas?

Reflux and/or gas can stimulate the vagus nerve which in turn may cause palpatations. Eating to quickly or too much at one sitting can cause the same effect.
