I am scheduled to have surgery with a Dr. At Celebration Hospital on July 5th. It is a pretty new procedure called gastrointestinal valvuloplasty. I had an endoscopy and they found a hiatal hernia 2mm and I also had a ph test that showed I had alot of acid going into my esophagus. My gi dr. Had me go speak to a surgeon to see what my options are. The problems that i have been experiencing is heartburn, burning in my stomach, foggy head, tingling in my arms and legs, hot flashes, cold chills, warm skin. I wake up in the morning with mild anxiety and pain under my ribs and lower esophagus. Has anyone hadbthis surgery and symptoms due to hiatal hernia.

Hi there! Did you have your surgery? How are you doing on this day-Labor Day. I had surgeries from same doctor on 7/28 and 7/31 with a wonderful outcome - so far
