Has anyone had Hiatal Hernia Surgery (with a half wrap) and Interstim Implant at the same time?

Five days ago I had Hiatal Hernia Surgery (with a half wrap) and an Insterstim Implant for bowel incontinence done at the same time. The liquid diet makes it very hard to determine if the Interstim is working effectively as I have horrible, explosive at times, diarrhea. I'm wondering if these surgeries should have been done separately? Has anyone else had these two surgeries done at the same time? Any advice?
