I am three months post hernia repair and half nissen fundiplication. Although I feel good and am back to all activities, there is often a slight "sensation" where I think the wrap/repair is located. Not pain or even discomfort, just a feeling that something is different there. Is that normal? Will it always be that way? Also, although I can tolerate most foods again, beef and some breads not so much. Maybe I'm eating now the way I should have eaten before. My issue was pain caused by the stomach being turned and up through the hernia into the chest, I never really had GERD. Living the new normal I guess, BTW I am 72 years young.
