Hi, I’m new to the forum. I have some atypical Gerd, met with the gastro dr. And am scheduled for endoscopy in a couple of weeks.
My doctor recommended using a wedge pillow which I’ve had for about a week. It’s 7 1/2” high and about 30” long. While it seems to help, it’s not super comfortable. I can sleep on it, but end up sliding down through the night. Also it’s hotter than the mattress. And I cannot sleep on my side.
Research suggests that wedge pillow is certainly not a cure-all. There is some question that it does any good. But it does, as I said, seem to be beneficial for me. At least I’m not as afraid of waking up choking.
So what’s your experience? Thanks.
