Gallbladder surgery after Nissen

Anyone have their gallbladder removed Post nissen? I had the Nissen in July and have struggled with stomach pain and nausea for months. I finally found a doctor that is listening and he ordered several test. I’m having a delayed gastric emptying test and another scope next week. I had a HIDA scan a few days ago and my infraction rate is 9%. So he said I need to have my gallbladder removed.

Wondering if it will be more complicated since I had the Nissen or will it be the standard out patient procedure?

Shouldn't be an issue and there's no reason it shouldn't be done as an outpatient procedure, have you tried taking anti-nausea medication? Nausea is something that I still struggle with 3-1/2 years after Nissen surgery. I keep a script of Zofran with me at all times.

I had a Nissen in February of 2016. Uneventful recovery and such a relief. Off and on though I had had what I thought was esophageal spasms. Felt like a heart attack every time. My husband said enough is enough and took me out to emergency where I was diagnosed as having severe pancreatitis. Apparently I had been having these small attacks for years. Surgeon said it had nothing to do with the Nissen procedure. My gallbladder was removed a few hours later. I was home within two hours of the removal. Quick yes but okay so far.
