Hi, this site is so very helpful! I am scheduled for surgery May 7th unless something opens earlier. This seems like a silly question but I am so afraid that I am going to drown during surgery. I have been aspirating after I eat / drink and always have lots of fluid in my bronchial tubes and feel like I am breathing through mud most of the time.
Has this happened to anyone else and how did you make out during surgery? I am so afraid of lying down on a table for 3 to 4 hours with all of this fluid. The neb only opens up my tubes for about an hour. Thank you!
