Sphincter of Oddi ?

Hi everyone, Had gallbladder out Nov.2016. I had been perfectly fine till April . I started with right upper quadrant pain radiating to my back. I took Prilosec for 2 weeks which helped just a little. Then went to Dr. was given protonix 40 mg . And carafate . Started taking it. After a week the intense pain had gotten better. But after meals the burning would return so I would take Gaviscon which would help. Then I was upped to protonix x2 a day. Still with the burning after meals . The intense pain would suddenly appear sometimes again after meals. Then I started to feel after I ate that something was coming up my throat. And when I would bend down some times if I had taken a drink of something it would come right up. Like reguergition. So today I went to GI and they think that it could be a possibility that the pain could be sphincter of Oddi. I did have elevated liver enzymes before all this pain started . Even though I was told that it is rare has anyone been diagnosed with this ? I haven’t yet had and endoscopy I have only had ultrasound which just showed fatty liver no dilation of bile ducts. So now we are going to try dexilant to see if there is any change and go from there. My gut feeling is that it’s gerd and maybe gastritis . Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
