Acid Reflux still remains? Stopped PPI but now sinus issues?

I got a clean endoscope back in July of this year. No known cause for my heartburn. So I stopped taking my PPI and H2 medication. I have been managing pretty well but now I am getting a symptom I use to get 6 years ago before I started on PPIs. I was suffering from sinus pain and headaches along with heartburn for the longest time. I then took PPI's and they seemed to eventually go away. Fast forward 6 years and I am off PPI's a gain and the headaches/sinus issues have returned.

My question is does heartburn cause sinus issues? Anyone else suffer with these? I am debating going back on PPIs but wafting.

I was constantly at the doctors office thinking i was getting recurring sinus/ear infections until i saw the PA instead of my doctor and she told me it was all from GERD. Apparently if it isn't under control the acid moves up into sinuses and ears, especially at night. I was on Zegerid but went off of it after 2 years because i was feeling good but now the GERD, sinus and ears issues are all back again. It is a never ending cycle.
