Tasting/Spitting blood?

Hello,

Has anyone ever tasted then spit up blood in their saliva? It’s tinted red/pink when I spit it out. Not a strand, bright red or anything like that.

I do have chronic ongoing allergy, sinus, allergic rhinitis symptoms.. so maybe it comes from there? I don’t know..

I went to the ER lastnight they did a throat and chest X-ray and bloodwork and are having me follow up with a GI doctor (I’ve already seen ENTS and GI drs which day gerd LPR
Silent reflux gastritis and Esophagitis) so I’m recently back on ppis.

Just wondering if anyone has ever had this as it’s new for me and scary.(I have severe anxiety so I’m kind of freaking out over it!)
