Omeprazole and Zantac makes symptoms worse?

Wondering if any of you have been on omeprazole (Prilosec) and Zantac (ranitidine) and it made your symptoms worse? I have LPR silent reflux GERD and gastritis and it’s making my symptoms worse??

How long have you been taking the Omeprazole and Zantac?

Off and on the omeprazole for a few years but this time only since February 13 and Zantac about 3 days

Thats interesting. For me those drugs work for me but antacids like Tums or Maaloxx will make my GERD much much worse... actually I believe a bad reaction to EXTRA strength Maalox I recieved at the hospital is what actually triggered my GERD to begin with.

Everyone reacts different. Listen to your body.
