I'm having the emptying scan tomorrow, and no water for four hours before it? I don't think I can wake up and not drink water. What is the purpose of not having water??
Also, seems that four hours is the gold standard--but mine will be two hours. Can they tell from that? Thought I read that four hours is needed to see where the food gets 'stuck', as it is not necessarily slow everywhere in digestive tract.
Anyway, figured I'd ask...thanks for advice!
