Nissen

Had the nissen a year back and it went pretty good. Took awhile to get use to.

I have currently over eaten many times due to a new prescription (causes eating binges)
I hope things will be ok because my surgeon is not looking to do my any testing yet + my family dr says over eating doesn't break it, just makes it irritated. Supposedly all these symptoms and air escaping will go away once It gets a chance to calm down from the eating.

Anyone else ever hear that?
I am from Ontario, contemplating trying to find a second opinion/?

Not looking for medical advice more of an opinion if others overrate awhile after a year and then it got better. Just concerned I revoke it thanks to mirtazapine hunger and sleep eating rofl

he wont do a re test anytime soon because last year I thought it was broken but he said it's just a hypersensitive esophagus.

But now theres air escaping like the old days just not as bad. I am 70% better, sore but no weird taste again. I see the fam dr on thursday.

I dont want pills again (failed them) Just want a simple re do to tidy up the damage I have done lol. They make surgery such a big deal, but I am not that concerned.

I do agree because that was the cause of testing last year lol and it all was fine. My dr has assured me that that would not cause harm in any circumstance. I have just very much angered the wrap. Since my testing before the wrap stated I have Non erosive, I decided to simply wait until next year and ask for a re test if it still is sore. The surgeon agreed to see me again later on down the road if I feel there is still issues. My family DR also put in my file I am PPI resistant so that should help for future re-dos when and if needed
