i have been having reflux of some sort off and on for a while. it always seems to come in bouts that last about a week and then goes away. it happens if i take a nap after eating a substantial lunch. obviously only sometimes. i was diagnosed as having Barrett's esophagus and a hiatal hernia about ten years back. Except for 2 flareups in the last few months I haven't had any problems.
I know you folks aren't doctors, but would appreciate some general feedback about what might be going on. I have a doctor appointment with my GP in a week or so for a general physical and will bring it up then. Like I said, most of the time I don't have a problem.
I take 150mg of Wal-Zan (Walgreens equivalent to Zantac) every night as a preventative, and obviously take an extra one when I'm having an episode.
