vomiting foam after hiatal hernia surgery

I am on day 12 after the nisson surgery and have been vomiting foam for 6 days. It just comes up with no effort, but I can feel pressure and nausea from it. It comes up at night while sleeping, and chokes me. I went to ER when it started and they did a cat scan which shows everything is ok. Has anyone had this experience? I am keeping the liquids down, but this is so disturbing to me. Thanks.

Welcome to the Healing Well Forums. You are more than likely experiencing nausea, post-surgery. Your surgeon should have prescribed anti-nausea medication (Zofran), which is something that you will want to keep with you at all times.
