I've had both tests. (The sensor through the nose into the stomach for 24 hours, not the Bravo.) They are a bit uncomfortable but nothing crazy. Worst part is passing the gag reflex as the doctor runs the sensor down and back up the next day. I've had several trans-nasal esophagoscopies so knew what to expect.
After the device is placed, it was annoying swallowing/eating but I got used to it. Again, you'll get through it and it's no biggie. Best part is that after you complete the tests, you'll get a very clear picture of what is going on related to LES strength and reflux pattern. No more guessing.
