Sorry to hear about your recent side effects. The wind is a side effect of not being able to properly belch, so the gas needs to escape from the other end. I would say to take a look at your diet, and try to eliminate some of the gas producing foods, it's surprising what foods you wouldn't expect to be gas producing.

Unfortunately, nausea that comes and goes are quite common after surgery. I experience waves of nausea, for no reason, 5 years post-surgery. You should always carry anti-nausea (Zofran) medication with you at all times. The gas is also something that's common - since you can no longer belch properly, the gas has to exit the only other way. Try taking some anti-gas medication (simethicone) for relief. As for the fainting, I would contact your doctor.
