All though I feel healthy and well. Food is going down fine, swallowing and no heart burn sensations(the odd niggle here and there but overall best I've ever felt) but the barrett's is stressing me out massively.

John:
Although I understand your concerns, the chance of developing cancer from Barrett's is relatively low - roughly .5% and having the surgery can in some cases help heal your esophagus. Is there some reason why you are currently so upset?

Sharon,
Because of a Kidney transplant. I'm on immune suppression medication and I do look after myself 99.9% of the time.

When was your last endoscopy, and what did your doctor say?

Everything was intact (The nissen) the barrett's remained the same. There was no dysplasia showing. Although the food pipe was a little inflamed. I had a PH monitor everything was fine with that and he wasn't concerned. He said Anual checks and I got one in February

Try not to stress too much, just continue with the annual check-ups. You are doing much better than when I first met you, my friend!
