Worried that my toplet fundoplication failed

5 days ago I had surgery and was recovering really well until one night after drinking food ( liquid diet) I noticed my gurgling noises we're back. Does this mean my wrap tore or something or is gurgling noises normal to get again?

Absolutely not, the gurgling noises are quite common post-surgery. Keep in mind that during the recovery process, you will most likely experience small setbacks. I didn't start to feel better until about six months after surgery and my "new" me at approximately 1 year - which I'm sure your surgeon discussed with you.

Thanks for helping out my mind at ease I was really worried that I had somehow tore it and would have to get surgery again.

Be happy! If you can get gas up at this stage, instead of having to wait for it to only go down, you are lucky! I couldn't burp for at least a year. When the wrap is swollen you can't get anything up. Don't let anyone "stretch" the wrap.
