Failed Nissan

Hi,
I had two hernia repairs about 13 years ago and I have had constant pain on a daily basis since these operations.
Both repairs have failed.
The pain is being caused by damage to the nerves where the incisions were made for the surgery.
There is no pain block that they can do for this.
As I understand there are about 52000 nerves in the stomach area so it would be difficult to isolate.
Any suggestions for the daily pain management.

Did you have the Nissen repair done twice? Was the nerve damage actually diagnosed as the cause of the pain by a doctor or surgeon? Have you recently consulted a doctor/surgeon lately for a more current opinion? We aren't medical professionals on these Boards, so I can't suggest anything that I know of that would help you. Have you consulted with a pain management specialist?
