John:
At this point, there is no reason to believe you have Barretts. Please don't let your anxiety get the best of you. If you are that concerned, talk to your doctor about
doing a repeat endoscopy.

Sorry, John - I didn't remember you had Barretts. If it's being monitored, you shouldn't worry. The chance of Barretts developing into cancer, is very, very small - 0.5%.

I'm just a person who worries but hides it well though. I have felt healthy and really well in myself in three years and ten months since my operation and swallowing as been around 80% and 95% the last few weeks as you know I have felt food not get stuck my slide past my wrap but it seems to have improved slightly. I was thinking the other day. I never used to have reflux or swallowing problems until about
three years after my kidney transplant when I couldn't really swallow properly and only used to focus on soft foods. Thinking back now, I perhaps should have been checked around 10 years ago instead of having things done 3 or 4 years ago.

Thank you for helping me with your guidance. It's just rather annoying to go so long without issues but have set backs like food slowing down and me feeling it slow down past the wrap.

I still have problems with things like steak and bread rolls. I have learned to expect setbacks, but they are few and far between.

I didn't realise that you still had set backs after all those years. I think I'm still adapting to set backs because like i said 2017, 2018 i didn't feel anything just normal swallowing 2019 was the first issue, 2020 Ive had it twice at the beginning and fine for months and months, then issues from october to now but improvements inbetween.
with me but not all the time is meats, stuff with skins on etc.
