I have a question, I think I have a hernia. My dr has asked me to see a speclist. My question is I am in rheumatoid arthritis meds, will this affect the surgery? Also, should I wait to see the dr., or go to the ER. I have bloating, belching, headaces and pain? I had a sleve done 21 yrs ago. so my tummy is small.

I would definitely see the specialist. You won't get much help in the ER as they will advise you to see a specialist, anyway. As far the meds, it shouldn't make a difference but the specialist is the person to ask.
