TIF Procedure - how long does it last?

On this website, it says that the TIF procedure lasts for 7 to 12 years:

What happens after the procedure is no longer effective? Can you have it performed again? Can you have a different procedure performed (NISSEN or LINX)?

I had the Nissen, and I don't know anything about the TIF. Hopefully someone will come along and share their experience/knowledge.

Here is some good info on the TIF procedure. There are 2 videos included in it. Be sure to watch the second one, as it shows a diagram of what the repair to the LES valve looks like. It appears to be quite complex. I wonder what the success rate is.

I suspect that many gastroenterologists don't know how to do the TIF. I have an endoscopy coming up and will ask the doctor. I've been looking at alternatives to the Nissen.

The answer is short and not well-thought-out. Consider how many factors influence the outcome of a procedure.
