How to get rid of acid reflux taste though.

I have the gerd condition for awhile already. I am taking medication for it though it only helps a little though. I have been having acid reflux taste though. I really don't like it ya. Does anyone know anything to take to get rid of the taste though. I try sweet drinks though it don't work ya. Any advice would be cool. Thanks.
