I’m experiencing burping after each and every bite and sip of food and drink. It doesn’t matter what I eat or drink.
I have had reflux on occasion but not often. An upper GI series (barium swallow) test indicated that I do not have GERD.
I have chromic indigestion which started three years ago.
I’ve also have had 3 endoscopies, a few CT’s, 2 MRIs, etc.
I quite often am asked by forums if I have a hiatal hernia and no tests I’ve had reveal one, however, I keep reading they can be difficult to find.
I’ve read about the incision less TIF procedure for GERD which can also repair hiatal hernias that are 2cm or less.
So, how does one really know if they have a hiatal hernia or not? What test(s) can be done? I need to find a solution but can’t even get a diagnosis.
