I am exactly one year out from an NF 360 and Cholecystectomy. I sleep well, don't have any food/liquids refluxing, and can't really burp from the stomach. I have had a constant discomfort and a burning sensation in my chest ever since surgery. I was on Amitriptyline for about 4 months, then Escitalopram for about 6 months. Barium swallow showed wrap intact etc.... Neither anti-depressant did anything to mute the pain. about a month ago I drove myself to the ER due to kidney stones. The narcotics I took for stones, and also sciatic back pain, seemed to help my Gi pain and discomfort. I am running out of the meds and won't get refilled because it's an opioid of course. Dr. and Gi specialist, don't like the fact that it is helping me function better when taking it. I feel more productive, better appetite, and better sleep. I live in Washington state, where cannabis is legal. I have researched cannabis and CBD to replace the narco. Does anyone out there have similar issues, and if so, have you had any experience or luck with cannabis gummies, tinctures or smoke? Thank you.
