Tickle in throat and constant throat clearin, Symptoms?

Hi,
I have been experiencing a constant tickle in my throat . I always feel like I have to clear my throat and I have an irritated /burning feeling in my wind pipe. I was experiencing a throat closing sensation which went away with Prilosec, but the other symptoms seem to be persisting, although they come and go. Could this be GERD?
