I was officially diagnosed with it three years ago. They stuck a camera in my nose and found blood in my throat area. Also had an inflamed esphagus (spelling???) after my first scope. BUT I THINK I HAD THIS A LONG TIME AGO. I kept losing my voice but my health plan did not allow me to see a good ENT. So, being conservative about
the whole thing I think I've had it at least 6 or 7 years. The meds from the asthma drug which are dillators (expanders) can cause problems because they expand other things too such as those spincter(spelling???) muscles. I am also overweight but I have really lowered my caffeine intake. So I keep trying.
