Doxepin for GI problems?

I was wondering. Has anyone here ever tried doxepin? It is an antidepressant but is supposed to help with GI pain, gastritis, motility, etc? If not, has anyone used an antidepressant to help with GI pain at all?

I was on Valium and it helped with my GI pain.. And so did xanex..
