Just curious to hear from anyone on Nexium and if it has helped them verses other meds

I am on it now and it works pretty good for me so far... I was on it before and it quit working...

When I took it last year for a few months, it worked sometimes. I had severe nausea and abdominal pain when I took it......I'm not taking it anymore thank God.

I take Nexium three times a day...and it does not help me at all !

When I was on Nexium I had a lot of heartburn problems. I feel I'm doing a bit better on Prevacid than the Nexium. Similar side effects of hair loss and constipation, though. I also had a lot of edema with the Nexium that I don't have with the Prevacid SoluTab.

Still having to stay on a GERD diet, of course.

I'm glad you started this forum on nexium, I've been interested in it too! I'm on Zantac and before that was on pepcid. Hated the pepcid... I remember when I first was on pepcid it cost me $120. for a month supply... These stomach medicines are just to pricey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
