Being unemployed and broke, should i get a health plan anyway

500 in charges last month from visits. I make payments on it , but wondered if I would of saved money if i had some kind of med card or something , i see things ontv where you pay like 20 a month , but heck i might not go to the doc for another 6 months .

I would say it depends on how much you go to the dr and how many meds you are on.. Me I could not go without ins.. I go to the doc atleast every other week or weekly. And on a bunch of meds..

what type of card could i get for meds , but not insurance or is that insurance

I know there are some cards just for med discounts but I cant think of the name of them. You can also call liberty medical they give lower prices than alot of pharmacys.. My aunt said a 3 month supply of her meds through them was what 1 month worth would have cost at her other pharmacy. I hope this helps...
