Stomach Ulcer

Was wondering if anyone on this board has/or had and Ulcer? If so, I was just wondering what the typlical symptoms are and what meds/home remidies you take to help.
Also, what tests are taken to help determine if you have an ulcer or not?

You should definitely be tested for the H. pylori type of ulcer. It it's that type, it can be treated with antibiotics. It's a simple test where you breathe into a small balloon. Then swallow a mixture and 15 min. later breathe again into another balloon. Both are then sent to a lab to check for the H.pylori.
