The best I can figure to do is eat every 2 hours, which means I need at least 250 calories per meal. But I can't seem to pack that much food in me at one sitting even, I mean I don't hit the calorie marek until I've got like 4oz of chicken, a slice of potato bread and some soy cheese, and all that chicken is way too much for me to eat. I can't double up on the bread, I'm diabetic.
I'm afraid that if I stick to this alkaline diet thing I'm gonna starve to death, I'm underweight as it is, I can't eat bananas (causes some of the worst heartburn imaginable), and suffer from depression and couldnt cook my way out of a paper bag. I'm finding the boost drinks I've been using to gain calories still seem to set off my reflux, and that leaves me with bupkis...
