I have two children - both who suffer from GERD. My son who is 3 1/2 had the nissen done a few months back and is still refuxing.. He is in chronic pain - doesn't sleep - coughs - just suffers his whole life. Does anyone know if this can be performed on children or, if it can be done post nissen? I also have an 11 month old who is on the same track my 3 1/2 is on... Thanks so much - I am going to try to call this doctor in New York and ask him for any information...

Hello there gtwsmommy...welcome to healingwell. I am so sorry your poor babies are suffering like this!!! That is a shame for children to have to deal with this. I am confused on your question though...am I missing something? What are you wondering can be done post nissen? I apologize if I am missing something completely here. Please clear me up on what you are asking, and I will get back to you with an answer. Again, welcome to healingwell. And again, I apologize if I am totally reading the question wrong.
