newbie with psoriasis

i have plantar and palmar psoriasis, i have been on taclonex,humira,vectical and some steroid spray which none semed to help, but i have been using otc psoriasin ointment which seems to do the same job without the steroid scare!

Hi Joshs mom, you just listed every medication that I have tried too with no luck. The Taclonex worked better than any one of them but I am sure its because of the steroid in it.I had to go off of Humira,it made it worse, which come to find out I was not the only one that got it worse while on Humira. I have crohns and was already on Humira and it made it much worse. I hope you can get some improvement with the OTC meds.

Thanks for writing me back ! Do you know why oral steroids make it worse? I have a UC flareup and have to be on the prednisone rite now

No, I do not know why prednisone is making it worse especially when that works well in creams,weird huh. What is the name of the OTC you are using?
