Stelara--Is it working for you?

My doctor has taken me off Humira due to reaction. Plans for me to start Stelara. Don't see much info on the web. Anyone using it? How is it working for you?

I'm 2 weeks past my second shot....no improvement. a 5 day Prednisone taper ALWAYS cures my psoriasis for a few months before it comes back. I really want to try doing a 5 day prednisone taper while on stelara to see if that may kick start it. My dermatologist is 100% against using predisone for anything but my pcp may let me try it. Stinks that the one thing that helps me, prednisone, is so bad for you but it certainly takes care of my psorasis!!!

Hi...new to this section of the forum. I usually hang out in the UC section. But, had a Humira induced psoriasis breakout about 3 months into the treatment. Now off Humira and Dr is recommending Stelara as a dual treatment for psoriasis and UC. Praying for a miracle that the psoriasis isn't permanent and somehow goes away once Humira is completely out of my system. In the meantime also curious how others' experience with Stelara is going. BTW, aside from biologics, what's the go-to drug from psoriasis? I've done a lot of reading in the forum (really great info from everyone, esp Chotti...thanks!). Seems mostly home remedies/creams to keep things in check.
