Hi,
New here today. I’ve had P for 30+ years (I’m 42) diagnosed with PSA last year and started MTX. My big patches of P improved, overall joint pain, stiffness, aching improved. My fatigue levels remained pretty constant and I have some (hands, face, elbow) patches of P which have become more aggressive. I’ve abandoned all steroid creams and use only basic, simple moisturisers. My diet is fairly healthy, occasional treat and some chocolate. Not much alcohol at all. I notice my P is less aggressive in the morning, by the evening it’s bright red. I do like my condiments, pickles and like my meals to have a zing! 90% are home made. I’m now considering whether sulfites in all the things I like to liven my food up with are increasing the P. It’s really become apparent today as I’ve eaten very little (tea, coffee, pastry) this am it got redder and I’ve had a bbq with salad hummus, mayo, coleslaw etc all loaded with sulfite amd been drinking plenty of fruit cordial sulfite loaded too. Anyone else experienced this. I’m going to cut them all out for 10 days and report. Would this be ok to cut and paste into allergies forum to get users feedback also?
