cry  Ok here it goes....  about two weeks ago I went to my Rheum and told him I have been having servere pains in my joints and swelling... then I showed him a ptach on my rt ring finger, He said he didn't thnk it was PA, because it was only on that one spot.. Then I reminded him that I had gotten that same thing on my legs before.. So he put me on a steroid, but I didn't want to take it because I had to take 5 pills... Then out of nowhere I started to itch on my lt ring finger and then a blister came out and then the very next day I couldn't get out of bed, My feet were in servere pain and so were my other joint's that same Lt hand where that blister came out I could not use, my husband had to squeeze the toothpaste for my and I bearly could brush my teeth with my rt hand but it did not hurt as bad as the left... that was last sat and sunday, Now yesterday monday I got another blister on my Lt middle finger my hands hurt but not nearly as bad because when I got the fisrt blister and I woke up on sunday in so much pain I started the steroid... Can anyone hlep and tell me if this sound like PA, RA? shakehead I sure could use some sound advise from other who have PA or RA.

Have you been tested for Lyme disease????

Yes I've been tested for Lymes, and it was neg!

Hi there,

Hopefully I might help and I wanted to say that I am glad that someone else posted here, although I am very sorry for your pain. I was happy when this Psorasis forum was established because I could really use some support from those who understand what I go through !!

So welcome and please come back often to visit and share advice and to vent or get a hug and I will gladly do the same.

As for your pain, I have had Pa, though not diagnosed by any test for about two years now.

  I have had very serious Psorasis for three years now.

Do you have Psorasis and how bad is it ?

I guess I am assuming that you have been diagnosed with that anyway.

What are the 5 pills that you are supposed to take ?

Have they helped you at all?

I will check back tommorrow.

Hi Anne,
I have not been diagnosed yet, I see my Rheum tomorrow because of the blister's i've been getting and the pains in my joints... Along with the 60 mg of Cymbalta I have to take 5 Methylpred for two weeks then down to 4 a day... Since taking it it seems to be helping me alittle so I will see what he says.. I was on The National PA forum and someone said that PA is an internal condition? Is that correct? I so confused and sometimes I hestitate asking questions... So far im having a good day, My Fibro is ok and my joints are feeling ok, but the weather is changing and it been raining allot lately, So who knows I'm praying by the end of the day I'll be ok...
