Stelara new user/rash (not psoriasis)

Hi all,

I'm bouncing over from the Crohn's side of HW to ask a question about Stelara. I am a Crohn's patient who has failed all approved Crohnie meds. I got Stelara approved off-label based on the phase 2b trials and I'm thrilled! After failing all of the other meds, my lab inflammation levels have dropped in half in 6 weeks (yea!!!!!).

However, at about 7 weeks in, I've started developing an itchy red, raised rash on my upper arms with a little on my neck. I'm not sure if this is a side effect/reaction to stelara, or if, perhaps, Stelara has changed my immune response and I am not reacting to some soap, laundry softener, etc., that previously never bothered me.

Anyone have anything like this happen? Heard of anything like this?

Linn it appears sr5599 is no longer active here at the forum and that was the last post made by this person. Have you checked with anyone at the crohns forum about getting the stelara approved off-label? If this is a trial this person was in they were most likely furnished the medication. Hope you can get some answers....Susie
