Hello, I'm a new member and wanted to introduce myself. I'm 52 y/o but have been struggling with OA since I was about
33. I've had about
17 different operations on knees and shoulders (since the ACL repairs that I had in my 20's). Included among the operations are an osteotomy and carticel replacement (the latter being a very rare operation done at Brigham Womans Hospital in Boston). I had at least one operation every year from the time I was 35 until I was 46. After that, all operations ceased. I play golf every week now and walk the course as well. Very little pain and don't even think about
OE anymore. However, I do wonder sometimes how long my luck will run. If anyone wants to discuss their situation with me, please write to me at
[email protected]. Good luck everyone.
