well since I have barrett's esophagus, my general practitioner wanted me to stop taking meloxicam (15 mg) for my pain. Actually it was my idea to reduce to 7 mg. What happened eventually was that one day I was pretty much crippled.
The humidity here has been very high and the heat too made me crippled. For two days I took the higher dose and feel okay now.
My Barrett's is small and stable and I don't mind taking the 7 mg but sometimes have to take the higher dose.
Problem being that I did not realize I would become crippled until it actually happened!!! HELP.
Meloxicam is not a controlled substance and is a aspirin compound. Here in New York state...controlled substances are very difficult to get. Just as well for me since I am allergic to them.
Wiped out now from the whole mess. Don't know what to say about my situation.
I told her have you forgotten about my dislocation of the hip and my hammer toes? She did not really reply to that but when I got home I thought of the 7 mg Meloxicam.
WHAT A MESS.
