What doesn't arthritis attack? Plus can arthritis attack scapula?

I've been the unfortunate recipient of my ancestors family curse...arthritis. This year has been extremely bad and it first started out with ovary pain and my Gynocologist said it was arthritis. A month later My knee froze up and found out arthritis ate the cartridge leaving joint space, but 2 month in Physicsl therapy and cortisone shots in knee from ortho and I'm walking better. Then my hips started aching form arthritis and ortho said area that was previously round was squared off which is why I'm having instability. Lastly, 3 weeks ago I got a case of pleurisy and all over back burning and pain. Prednisone was prescribed and I believe it's cleared up but I'm still having dull aches at times in scapula. Doc said lungs were clear but that I have damage to ribs (winged) from arthritis and in the future may need shots in back.
My question is, could arthritis settle in scapula and surrounding areas?
I also have arthritis in my spine.

Sounds like youv'e had quite a seige of it yourself. Mine is more in the scapula kind of deep. Im concerned its either the pleurisy coming back and if so im wondering why the reoccurance, and Im always thinking of the big "C" in the back of my mind. Then again, I'm thinking it could be arthritis since every other vody part has had it.
