Osteoarthritis and pain.

Went to my doctor this past week she said sometimes doctors and the public overall don't realize the very real pain people suffer with this and how much your life can change when it gets severe. I have been diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in both knees and have had osteo for at least 10 years. i had to quit my job because the pain gets so bad when i do to much...Osteoarthritis can be different for everyone depending on severity, age and health. The best advice I received from another arthritis sufferer was to you know yourself best what you can do and cant. As much as you can protect your knees because the only recourse when it gets bad enough is the surgery. I have seen surgeries go well and not so good so be good to yourself and take care of yourself.
