Right knee locking after 3rd revision/replacement after 7 years

I am a 66 year old female who has had 3 replacements revision knee surgeries. My knee is now locking with much pain and I am unable to unlock it even with help. My dr. has x rated it when unlocked and find nothing. I was told to go to the emergency room when it's locked. I need help I can't stand too much more.

When it does lock up you do need to be seen so it can be documented and xrays ordered. Better yet is a MRI of that knee. Good luck!
Also, my husband had a reconstruction of his knee and ended up needing several additional. It turns out he was a scar builder. He grew excessive scar tissue inside the joint which severely limited his movement.

Thank you for helping me know I'm not crazy. I like your husband have a lot of health issues so I feel what I'm having seems to go along with osteoarthritis and degenerative joint disease.

Hi punchie I have had 3rt knee replacements in 6yrs along with 2 scopes. I know what your going thru. Did you have the same surgeon for all 3.

My knee is so swollen and stif I still work at vBulletin 60 yrs old . I would recommend trying to get another surgeon I'm going on my 3rd

How much pain ard you in mine is pretty bad let me know how you are doing take care
