does anybody else have bad arthritis in hot humid weather?

mad  i swear that this awful hot humid weather is killing me and my arthritis.  mad   when are these doctors going to get their act together instead of always looking for money?

Humid weather makes my fingers swell but it doesn't make it hurt worse.

I have noticed lately that on the warmer days I seem to be hurting more. Where I live its not humid, but its wierd to me too to be hurting this time of year and in warm weather. Hugs!

beats me but i woke up in pain last night and all my joints are just aching. how long is a flare up supposed to last?  will goggle humidity and arthritis again...there is a recent study someplace in so. america.

I have had ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis of spine) for 30 years, and every summer it flares up and does not stop till well into autumn.
Without a shadow of doubt hot humid weather makes it worse..I even know when it's coming!
Frozen packet of peas on bottom of spine helps a bit, along with painkillers.
Hate summer, and dread it every year.
I wish I smoked..then I could try cannibis.

lucky you who live in a hemp area. i figure it is usually dry here and then when it becomes humid my bod can't make the adjustment. so long everybody...it is going to get hot and humid soon here where i live...ugh.

Your not alone ,my pain is bad in humidty if Iwake up like 100 percent in humidty ends in bad day sometimes get migraine so  misereable.I have sponydilitis and osteoarthitis.Cold weather make it worse.

Glad to hear I am not the only one that has arthritis flare up during hot weather. Fingers will swell up like little sausages and back spasms increase. turn

The heat is always worse for me although the experts say arthritis is worse when it's cold and damp. What do they know?

I just found this site and the first thing I read could have been written by me. Was just diagnosed with a thickened stomach lining. Will be having a endoscopy in a few weeks.
to say I am scared to death is putting it mildly. Hope whoever posted before will find me some how. Have no family or close friends to share this with. Can anyone out there help me?

Well I Had endoscopy done twice for GERD went ok nice slept right through it. But yes weather and arthritis I guess I fell pain all the time in my back I hope it has a calm day I pray. Really messes with my mine have to take Xanax or something like it. Also in my wrist cant use mouse too long.. horrible good luck all

My arthritis actually has gotten so much worse from the humidity and heat! More than the winter, I had surgery ( I tore all of my ligaments : reconstructive surgery/a lot of pins Ect. I was in a cast for two years, it's been almost 13 years and the pain is unbearable!

oh I see so much suffering here and I am very sad for my osteo sufferers. It is sort of a double whammy for me ... the heat and humidity is hard on my breathing too. Though it is in the beginning of some severe winters I had to take prednisone. Not a lot but a short course. Of course, it is in the late fall when all the kids are in school that the viruses are passed around plus during the winters everybody stays at home as much as possible.

All you never wanted to know about asthma...but there you go.

dear snakies, you might want to visit the GERD forum...I have that too but pain and breathing problems have been dominating my life unfortunately.
